Visual Photo Tours are relaxed, guided photography experiences for anyone who wants to explore Japan and improve their photography along the way. Whether you’re just starting out, learning how to use your camera, or already have years of experience, the tour can be adapted to you and what you would like to learn.

If you’re a beginner, I can help you understand your camera settings, including aperture, shutter speed and ISO, as well as composition, focusing and working with available light. We’ll take our time, and you can ask questions as we shoot — there’s no need to already understand manual settings.

For more experienced photographers, we can work on techniques such as long exposure, bracketing, low-light photography and composition, or simply explore some of the best photography locations in the city. The aim is to give you plenty of time to photograph, learn at your own pace and enjoy exploring Japan with your camera.
